Ghandhara Industries Limited has launched a facelift version of its Isuzu D-Max to give it a sportier look. Introduced in 2018, the Isuzu D-Max offers pickup enthusiasts a very decent option as it gives its competitor Toyota Hilux a hard time.
The facelift variant is only available in the premium variant V-Cross with a 3.0 liter engine.
Exterior
Some changes have been made to the exterior to make it look more stylish. It is available in five colors, including black, red, gray, titanium silver and super white. The new outdoor functions are as follows:
- New front grille design
- Bi-LED headlights with DRLs (Daytime Running Lights)
- 18-inch alloy rims
- Fog lamp garnish design
- Blacked-out b-pillar film door
- Side step
The facelift variant is equipped with a chrome-plated tailgate and door handles and electrically adjustable / foldable chrome-plated side mirrors with LED indicators. There are also front and rear fenders.
Interior
With an improved control panel with new soft-touch materials, some changes to the interior have also been made. Passive entry and start system (PESS), leather seats, charging port in the rear seat, cruise control, 8-inch infotainment system with GPS functionality and 8 loudspeakers as well as the intelligent climate control make the car more comfortable.
Power
The Isuzu D-Max is equipped with a 3.0-liter in-line 4-cylinder turbocharger diesel engine, which can generate an output of 120 kW (160 hp) and a torque of 380 Nm. The engine can be combined with a 5-speed automatic transmission with sequential gearshift or a 5-speed manual transmission and is equipped with an electronic common rail fuel system with direct injection.
Safety
In addition to immobilizers and double airbags on the driver and front passenger side, the D-Max has a variety of safety functions that protect you even in rough terrain. The security features are listed below:
