Islamabad police recently revealed shocking details about a reported rape crime on Hiking Trail 3 in Margalla Hills National Park. An unexpected turn of events exposed a sinister plot orchestrated by the accused, Noman, and his accomplice Anwar.
The Elaborate Scheme
Investigations have uncovered the truth behind the alleged crime. It all began with a fallout between Noman and Anwar, leading the latter to seek revenge through a devious plan. Anwar recruited a group, including individuals like Saima, Dr. Sudra Ismail (posing as a fake journalist), Shakeel (posing as a fake journalist), and Manzoor (posing as a fake police officer).
The Mastermind’s Plan
Anwar instructed Saima, a woman from Rawalpindi, to falsely accuse Noman of rape. Saima then sought the help of Sudra, a resident of Sheikhupura, and together, they devised an elaborate scheme to stage a fake rape incident involving Noman.
The Staged Crime
Sudra took Noman to Trail 3, where she pretended to be assaulted, crying for help while the other members of the group were meant to capture videos of the fabricated crime scene.
The Blackmail Plot
The intention behind this charade was to blackmail and extort money from Noman and his family by leveraging the incriminating videos. However, Anwar, the partner in the plot, failed to show up at the location, leaving Sudra and Noman waiting.
Unraveling the Deception
Frustrated by the absence of her partner, Sudra finally returned to Rawalpindi with Noman. Subsequently, Sudra filed a First Information Report (FIR) at a police station before leaving for Sheikhupura.
Confession and Cases
During the investigation, Saima confessed to the entire scheme in front of a magistrate at the police station. As a result, two cases were registered against Sudra in both Sheikhupura and Mureed.
Police’s Commitment to Justice
Despite an ongoing investigation, a social media campaign was launched. The Islamabad Capital Police assured their unwavering commitment to safeguarding citizens’ lives and property, while also stressing the potential impact of such deceptions on genuine cases.
