As part of the Sindh Covid-19 Emergency Aid Ordinance 2020, the Institute for Business Administration (IBA) has decided to relieve the population of Sindh, including a 20% reduction in monthly fees for students. The IBA has been proven to provide extensive financial and non-financial support to its students. The institution has decided to continue this tradition in line with the recommendations of the Sindh government and to further improve its contribution to deserving students.
The IBA has taken several important initiatives to help the students and their families affected by COVID-19. Some of them are as follows:
The budget for financial support for the 2020-21 academic year has been increased by 25 percent to meet the needs of the students affected by the pandemic. This covers 30 percent of full-time students under IBA grant programs, including grants ranging from 25 to 100 percent of the fee, depending on the estimated level of need. The IBA grant program is now at Rs. 380 million for the 2020-21 financial year.
A needs-based assessment criterion now takes into account students affected by COVID-19 and offers relief in the form of needs-based grants in a range from 25% to 100%. Full-time students with only one course registration are entitled to needs-based grants. In the past, these grants were limited to full-time students who were only enrolled for a semester fee. All semesters, including the summer semester, are now covered for the granting of needs-based grants. In the past, grants were only awarded for regular semesters.
Students were also offered special options for deferment / installment plans. The unused portion of the student’s activity, exam, lodging and transportation costs will be reimbursed to the student for the current year.

سندھ کوڈ 19 ایمرجنسی ریلیف آرڈیننس 2020 کے تحت انسٹیٹیوٹ آف بزنس ایڈمنسٹریشن (آئی بی اے) نے طلباء کے لئے ماہانہ فیسوں میں 20 فیصد کمی سمیت سندھ کے عوام کو ریلیف فراہم کرنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے۔ آئی بی اے کے پاس اپنے طلبا کو وسیع پیمانے پر مالی اور غیر مالی مدد فراہم کرنے کا ریکارڈ ہے ، اس ادارہ نے حکومت سندھ کی سفارشات کے مطابق اس روایت کو جاری رکھنے کا فیصلہ کیا ہے ، جس سے مستحق طلباء میں اس کی شراکت میں مزید اضافہ ہوگا۔
آئی بی اے نے کوویڈ 19 متاثرہ طلباء اور ان کے اہل خانہ کو امداد فراہم کرنے کے لئے کئی اہم اقدامات اٹھائے ہیں۔ ان میں سے کچھ مندرجہ ذیل ہیں:
وبائی امراض سے متاثرہ طلبہ کی ضروریات کو پورا کرنے کے لئے تعلیمی سال 2020-21 کے مالی اعانت بجٹ میں 25 فیصد اضافہ کیا گیا ہے۔ اس میں آئی بی اے کے مالی معاونت پروگراموں کے تحت 30 فیصد کل وقتی طلباء کا احاطہ کیا جائے گا ، بشمول اسکالرشپ ایوارڈ جس میں 25 فیصد سے لے کر 100 فیصد تک کی فیس ہوتی ہے ، اس کا اندازہ ضرورت کی سطح پر ہوتا ہے۔ آئی بی اے کے مالی اعانت پروگرام کے لئے 380 ملین ڈالر شروع کیا۔
طلبہ کو فیس التوا / قسط منصوبوں کے لیے خصوصی اختیارات بھی مہیا کردیئے گئے ہیں۔ طلبا کی سرگرمی کے معاوضوں ، امتحانات کے معاوضوں ، ہاسٹل اور ٹرانسپورٹ فیس کے غیر استعمال شدہ حصے کو جاری سال کے دوران طلبہ کو واپس کردیا جارہا ہے۔
