- Type your National Identity card number and send it to 8171.
- Ehsaas team will verify the credentials from database.
- After verification of the credentials from database, they inform whether the applicant is eligible for the Ehsaas cash program or not.
- Biometric verification will be carried out to pay the amount to the beneficiaries, which will be carried out through over 18000 retail shops of Bank Al-Falah and Habib Bank.

Applying for Ehsaas Emergency Cash Program
The daily wagers and marginalized segment of the society can apply for Ehsaas emergency cash program by sending their CNIC number through SMS. This program will help the government to know about the rightful beneficiaries and they will do following to check the eligibility of the applying persons:
- Type CNIC number in SMS
- Send the SMS to 8171
- Ehsaas verify the credentials from the database and they will respond you accordingly.
- They will receive the SMS showing their eligibility or not.
- If your name is not provided in Ehsaas database, you will contact with the district administration.
- The people will be asked to visit the district administration, they can also register themselves with the use of Ehsaas web portal, https://ehsaas.nadra.gov.pk/ehsaas/.
- After accessing to the official website, type your CNIC number and write code, which is also given in the image.
- Click on the ‘Confirm’ to check eligibility.

Ehsaas Emergency Cash Ineligibility
- If your National Identity card is valid, you will move forward to the next step. If you do not receive the message, it means your CNIC is not valid and you are eligible to apply for this program.
- When your application is blocked because of blocked sanity profiling, you are not considered eligible for this program.
- If you or your spouse is government employee, you are not considered eligible for this program.
- The applicants, who are registered with other federal government relief / funding scheme, they are not considered eligible for this scheme.
