Alight Pakistan and Future Development Holdings have collaborated to build the first of their kind intelligent school that provides free education and life skills to out-of-school children in Islamabad.
The school building was designed by world-famous architect Zaha Hadid and donated by Education Above All (EAA), a Doha-based foundation.
The foundation recently partnered with Alight Pakistan and is funding the largest primary education initiative aimed at teaching one million school children.
The school will be innovative and energy efficient and will be located in the Smart City capital of the Community Development Hub.
The agreement was signed between the two companies at the FDH office in Islamabad.
On this occasion, the chairman of the Zahid Rafiq Group of FDH said that through this project the company wants to offer the marginalized groups of society the benefits of the modern conveniences of life.
This partnership will be an effort to uplift and dignify children by providing quality learning free of cost.
The country representative of Alight Pakistan, Dr. Tariq H. Cheema said that over 22 million children in Pakistan, 10 percent of the total population, do not attend school for various reasons.
He said that in order to meet this gigantic challenge, solutions should be developed by matching synergies between the public, private and philanthropic sectors.

اسلام آباد میں اسکول سے باہر کے بچوں کو مفت تعلیم اور زندگی کی مہارت مہیا کرنے والے اپنے سمارٹ اسکول کی تعمیر کے لئے ایلٹ پاکستان اور فیوچر ڈویلپمنٹ ہولڈنگز نے تعاون کیا ہے۔
اس اسکول کے لئے عمارت کو عالمی شہرت یافتہ معمار مرحوم زہا حدید نے ڈیزائن کیا تھا اور اسے دوحہ پر مبنی فاؤنڈیشن ایجوکیشن اوپرو آل نے تحفہ دیا تھا۔
اس فاؤنڈیشن نے حال ہی میں ایلائٹ پاکستان کے ساتھ مل کر کام کیا ہے اور ابتدائی تعلیم کے سب سے بڑے اقدام کی مالی اعانت فراہم کررہا ہے ، جس کا مقصد اسکولی بچوں میں سے دس لاکھ بچوں کو تعلیم فراہم کرنا ہے۔
یہ اسکول جدید اور توانائی سے بھرپور ہوگا ، جو کیپٹل اسمارٹ سٹی میں واقع ہے۔
اسلام آباد میں ایف ڈی ایچ کے دفتر میں دونوں اداروں کے مابین معاہدہ کیا گیا۔
اس موقع پر ایف ڈی ایچ کے چیئرمین زاہد رفیق گروپ نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ کمپنی اس منصوبے کے ذریعے معاشرے کے پسماندہ گروہوں کو زندگی کی جدید سہولیات سے فائدہ اٹھانا چاہتی ہے۔
