An inquiry has been initiated against four officials of the recently rebranded Dolphin Force in Islamabad, following serious allegations of harassment from families in public places.
Formal Complaint Filed
According to available information, the case was formally lodged at Ramna police station by the Station House Officer (SHO) acting on behalf of the affected families.
The Dolphin Force is an elite police unit, specially established to maintain law and order in the capital city. However, the four accused officials, who were serving as personnel in this force, are now facing accusations of misconduct and harassment of families at various public locations within the city.
Allegations of Misuse of Authority
The complaint filed against these officials alleges that they misused their authority and intimidated innocent civilians, causing distress to families who were merely going about their daily routines in public areas.
Investigating the Claims
As the investigation unfolds, authorities are closely examining the allegations of harassment and will thoroughly review the evidence and statements provided by the affected families.
The Dolphin Force’s Inauguration and Purpose
It is worth mentioning that the Dolphin Force was inaugurated in Islamabad just a few days ago by Interior Minister Rana Sanaullah. The primary goal of this unit is to enhance security measures and ensure a safer environment for the residents of the capital.
