The price of gold in Pakistan witnessed a minor decrease on Wednesday, closing at Rs. 204,000 per tola. According to data released by the All-Pakistan Sarafa Gems and Jewellers Association (APSGJA), the price of 24-carat gold experienced a drop of Rs. 500 per tola, reaching Rs. 204,000. Simultaneously, the price of 10 grams decreased by Rs. 429, closing at Rs. 174,897.

Following an increase of Rs. 800 per tola on Monday, the price of this precious metal encountered a substantial decline of Rs. 4,500 per tola. Today’s decrease contributes to an overall decline of Rs. 4,200 per tola in the past three days. Meanwhile, in the international market, spot gold demonstrated a rise of 0.5 percent, reaching $1,942.15 per ounce by 1301 GMT. Similarly, US gold futures experienced a 0.5 percent increase, closing at $1,947.30.
