KARACHI: Crown Group, in partnership with China, has for the first time introduced environmentally friendly electric cars, scooters and rickshaws in Pakistan.
An introductory ceremony on Friday also showcased all of the Crown’s old and new electric vehicles. Speaking on the occasion, Farhan Hanif, Chairman, Crown Group, said that his group has introduced electric vehicles in Pakistan with an investment.
It is likely that the government will introduce a policy on 2 and 3 wheeler electric products in a month. Crown is the market leader brand in motorcycles and three wheelers. Crown, the only local consumer brand, is exporting to the global market and is also providing after-sales services to its customers.
It should be noted that the price of electric car has been fixed at Rs 4 lakh, three wheeler at Rs 3 lakh and electric scooter at Rs 55,000.

جمعہ کے روز ایک تعارفی تقریب میں کرائون کی تمام پرانی اور نئی برقی گاڑیوں کی نمائش بھی کی گئی۔ اس موقع پر کراؤن گروپ کے چیئرمین ، فرحان حنیف نے خطاب کرتے ہوئے کہا کہ ان کے گروپ نے پاکستان میں ایک سرمایہ کاری کے ساتھ برقی گاڑیاں متعارف کروائی ہیں۔
امکان ہے کہ حکومت ایک ماہ میں 2 اور 3 پہیے والے بجلی سے متعلق مصنوعات پر ایک پالیسی متعارف کرائے گی۔ صرف مقامی صارف برانڈ ، کرائون عالمی منڈی میں برآمد کر رہا ہے اور وہ اپنے صارفین کو فروخت کے بعد خدمات بھی فراہم کر رہا ہے۔
واضح رہے کہ الیکٹرک کار کی قیمت 4 لاکھ ، تھری وہیلر 3 لاکھ اور الیکٹرک اسکوٹر کی قیمت 55 ہزار روپے مقرر کی گئی ہے۔
