COVID-19 Vaccination in Pakistan Available Free of Cost

Free vaccinations against COVID-19 will begin in Pakistan in September 2021, said Parliamentary Secretary for National Health Services, Dr. Nausheen Hamid, on Wednesday with.

She tweeted, “The PTI government will provide the people with the coronavirus vaccine for free. The government will begin vaccination from the second quarter of 2021. “

The Prime Minister’s Special Assistant for Health, Dr. Faisal Sultan stated that in the first phase, the vaccine will be given to frontline health workers, followed by the elderly. In the third phase, the general public will receive the vaccine.

He added that the Cabinet has approved Rs. 150 million to get the vaccine and ask the government for more funding if needed.

There are a few companies that have also been shortlisted for vaccine sourcing. The coronavirus vaccine, approved by China’s CanSino Biologics, is currently in clinical trials in Pakistan, and the response to the study has been quite positive.

وزیر اعظم کے معاون خصوصی برائے صحت ڈاکٹر فیصل سلطان نے بتایا کہ پہلے مرحلے میں ، یہ ویکسین فرنٹ لائن ہیلتھ کیئر ورکرز کو دی جائے گی ، اس کے بعد عمر رسیدہ افراد کی مدد کی جائے گی۔ تیسرے مرحلے میں ، عام لوگوں کو ویکسین دی جائے گی۔

انہوں نے مزید کہا کہ کابینہ نے 150 ارب روپے کی منظوری دی ہے۔ ویکسین کے حصول کے لئے 150 ملین اور حکومت کو ضرورت پڑنے پر مزید فنڈز کے لئے درخواست کی جائے گی۔
