The CDA Design Works Planning meeting, chaired by Chairman CDA Noor ul Amin Mengal, convened with the participation of officers from the Planning Commission, CDA Board Members, and various concerned formations.
Approval of Sector Development Projects
During the meeting, the PC-I of Sector C-13 was presented and approved. This sector, located in the scenic capital of Islamabad, will feature high-rise building apartments, emphasizing its aesthetic appeal. The committee gave its approval to the PC-I of Sector C-13, amounting to an estimated cost of Rs. 1078 million.
Additionally, the PC-1 for Sector D-13, consisting of 5468 plots, was approved with a budget of Rs. 10249 million. Similarly, the PC-I of Sector E-13, comprising 4034 plots, was also granted approval.
Moreover, the PC-I of Sector F-13, encompassing 5342 plots, received approval with a budget of Rs. 12676 million.
Infrastructure Development and Projects
The meeting also discussed the development plans for Orchard Height Park, which involves a construction cost of Rs. 107 million. The PC-I for Orchard Height Park was approved, and the project is expected to be completed with an estimated expenditure of Rs. 1773 million.
Furthermore, the alignment of the road passing through Sectors C-13, C-14, C-15, C-16, and D-12 in the Extension of Margalla Avenue N-5 to M-1 project was presented and approved. This project is estimated to cost Rs. 2930 million.
The meeting also addressed the Eleventh Avenue project, which aims to connect F-10/F-11 to Col. Sher Khan. It received approval, along with the PC-1 for the construction of a multi-purpose citizens club in F-10. The citizens club will include a building with one hundred and ten guest rooms, allocated parking on two floors, and an estimated cost of Rs. 2298 million.
Additionally, the construction of the National Bus Terminal, projected to cost Rs. 4252 million, was approved during the meeting.
