Cambridge International Examinations, in coordination with the British Council, has informed schools, parents and students that all exams will be conducted in strict compliance with all Coronavirus Standard Operating Instructions (SOPs).
The development came days after Cambridge announced after a nod from the federal government that it would take the O-Level, A-Level and IGCSE exams in Pakistan from May 10th.
In addition, the AS-Level and A-Level exams will begin on the current schedule, with the first scheduled for April 26th.
Uzma Yousuf, Country Director of Cambridge International, commented on the development as follows:
We have been working closely with the federal and provincial governments, who have given us extensive support and advice, to ensure we run exams safely, and securely for our students.
She explained that those students who do not wish to take the exams this year can withdraw their dues and take future series of exams without any additional financial burden.
Cambridge had taken extensive action earlier this year to help schools and students run the May / June 2021 exams, including adjustments to assessments and exemptions from those components that will be difficult to take during the pandemic.

کیمبرج نے مئی / جون 2021 کی سیریز میں امتحانات کے انعقاد کو یقینی بنانے کے لئے اسکولوں اور طلبہ کی مدد کے لئے وسیع پیمانے پر اقدامات متعارف کروائے تھے ، جس میں تشخیص میں ایڈجسٹمنٹ اور وبائی امراض کے دوران چلنے میں مشکل کام کرنے والے اجزاء سے استثنیٰ بھی شامل ہے۔
