Chief Minister Punjab, Sardar Usman Buzdar, opened the pilot project of mobile milk testing laboratories, the motorcycle commands that inspect food, on Tuesday.
He was accompanied by Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan, Minister of Information Fayyaz ul Hassan Chohan, Chairman PFA Umar Tanvir, Secretary General and Secretary Food.
As part of the project, six mobile Punjab Food Authority (PFA) laboratories will roam the city of Lahore and inspect the milk at the main distribution centers morning and evening.
No milk vehicle would enter Lahore without testing and the scope of this facility would be extended to divisional and district level.
Similarly, the food inspection team will be on site on wheels and check the quality of the food sold in different locations.
CM Buzdar said the squads will resolve complaints about counterfeiting and non-standard items on the spot.
Provision of good quality food items is the state’s responsibility and the adulteration mafia will not be granted any leniency.
Occasionally, PFA director-general Irfan Nawaz Memon said milk milk laboratories are able to determine milk quality within two minutes.

منگل کو وزیراعلیٰ پنجاب ، سردار عثمان بزدار نے موبائل دودھ کی جانچ لیبارٹریوں کے پائلٹ پروجیکٹ ، فوڈ انسپیکٹر موٹرسائیکل اسکواڈ کا افتتاح کیا۔
ان کے ہمراہ سینئر وزیرعبدالعلیم خان ، وزیر اطلاعات فیاض الحسن چوہان ، چیئرمین پی ایف اے عمر تنویر ، چیف سکریٹری ، اور سکریٹری فوڈ بھی موجود تھے۔
منصوبے کے تحت ، پنجاب فوڈ اتھارٹی (پی ایف اے) کی چھ موبائل لیبارٹریز شہر لاہور کے گرد چکر لگائیں گی اور مرکزی تقسیم کے مراکز میں صبح و شام دودھ کا معائنہ کریں گی۔
دودھ کے معیار کی جانچ کے لئے اس پروجیکٹ کے پہلے مرحلے میں موبائل لیبز ٹھوکر نیاز بیگ ، راوی موٹروے ٹول پلازہ ، بھوبیٹین چوک ، سگگین برج ، گجو مٹاہ اور بابو صابو کا دورہ کریں گی۔
اسی طرح فوڈ انسپیکشن اسکواڈ جگہ جگہ جائے گا اور مختلف علاقوں میں فروخت ہونے والے کھانے پینے کے معیار کی جانچ کرے گا۔
