Federal Cabinet Greenlights Surge in Electricity Prices

The federal cabinet has given the green light for a substantial surge in electricity prices in order to meet the conditions set by the International Monetary Fund (IMF). This decision has sent shockwaves through the masses, who are already grappling with the effects of inflation.

New Tariff Structure: Impact on Consumers

Under the recently approved tariff structure, the price per unit of electricity has skyrocketed from Rs. 3 to Rs. 7.50 per unit. The federal cabinet has circulated this major price adjustment, adding further financial burdens on the people.
