The highly anticipated OnePlus 12 is just around the corner, with its unveiling set for December in China and January for the global market. However, it seems that OnePlus has more in store for its fans, as rumors of another top-tier device are surfacing – the OnePlus 12R.
Leaked Details and Specifications of the OnePlus 12R
CAD-based renders and specifications of the OnePlus 12R have been leaked by reputable sources, OnLeaks, and MySmartPrice. This upcoming model is expected to debut in January in China, bringing exciting new features that set it apart from the recently leaked Ace 2 Pro (which the OnePlus 11R was based on).
Powerful Performance and Advanced Camera Technology
According to the leaks, the OnePlus 12R will be equipped with the cutting-edge Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor, paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. While the flagship OnePlus 12 will likely feature the 8 Gen 3 chip, the 12R promises impressive performance.
The camera setup of the 12R is also getting an upgrade over its predecessor, the 11R. It will boast a zoom lens with 2x optical magnification and a 32MP sensor, in addition to a 50MP main camera and an 8MP ultra-wide camera. (The 11R had a 2MP macro camera as its third module.)
Enhanced Battery and Stunning Display
OnePlus is not holding back on other aspects of the phone either. The 12R is rumored to come with a 10% larger battery, boasting a capacity of 5,500mAh. Additionally, users can look forward to a 100W fast charging feature, ensuring speedy power-ups.
The smartphone will sport a 6.7” display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a “1.5K” resolution, likely to match the 1,240 x 2,772 pixels resolution found in the OnePlus 11R. Moreover, the display will feature a subtle curve along its sides, adding to its aesthetics.
