Xiaomi Poco F3 and X3 Pro With Low Prices and Flagship Specs

The latest additions to Xiaomi’s Poco range are the Poco F3 and X3 Pro, both of which are well known devices. This is because the Poco F3 is the global variant of the Redmi K40 that was previously released in China, and the Poco X3 Pro is an update of the Poco X3 2020 with a flagship chipset.

Poco F3

As mentioned earlier, the Poco F3 is the same phone as the Redmi K40 released in China last month. The two phones have exactly the same hardware as the 120 Hz AMOLED display with 1080p resolution, the Snapdragon 870 SoC with 8 GB / 256 GB of memory and a 48-megapixel triple camera setup. The battery capacity is 4,520 mAh and supports 33 W fast charging via a USB-C port.

The phone will be available in Arctic White, Night Black and Deep Ocean Blue with a huge Poco logo on the back. The price is € 349 or € 399, depending on the storage option.

Poco X3 Pro

Display and Design

The design and display are no different from before. The Poco X3 Pro has a 6.67-inch LCD with an FHD + resolution display with a steady refresh rate of 120 Hz. The touch sampling rate goes up to 240 Hz and there is a single hole cutout for the selfie camera at the top.

Internals and Storage

The biggest update in the Pro model is the Snapdragon 860 chipset, a slightly improved version of the Snapdragon 855+ SoC. It has the same octa-core CPU and the Adreno 640 GPU, but the memory configurations are 6GB / 128GB and 8GB / 256GB.

Camera

Oddly enough, the main camera resolution has been lowered to 48 MP on the Pro model, but the rest of the configuration is the same. There is an 8MP ultrawide unit with 119 degree FoV and two 2MP sensors for depth detection and macro photography. The 1080p video recording still reaches 60 FPS and 120 FPS.

Battery and Price

There are no differences in battery specifications. You still get the same 5,160 mAh battery as the Poco X3 NFC version with 33W fast charge and an improved cooling system to keep thermals in check while charging.
